Claire’s Gourmet Fundraiser Update

Thank you to all of the families that participated in the Claire’s Gourmet Fundraiser on behalf of McIlvaine ECC. Food and fundraiser materials will be available for pick up on Monday, March 22nd from 3:30-6:30 pm. Please mark this date on your calendar.

McIlvaine Health and Safety Fair

Look ahead and mark your calendars…The annual McIlvaine Health and Safety Fair will take place on Thursday, March 18th from 6:30-8:00 pm. All health fair booths have games and activities that are interactive and designed for the whole family. They are lots of give-aways, fun games, and exciting things to see and do. Mrs. Gravatt, Mrs. Ward, the Wesley College nursing students, and many outside agencies are working hard to design this fun-filled event. We hope to see you there.

Do You Have A Weather Plan?

We have encountered lots of snow and bad weather so far this school year. Although spring is a few weeks away, we still need to “have a plan” for inclement weather. Has your family discussed what to do in case of an unexpected early dismissal? Have you updated your child’s emergency card with phone number changes? Do you need to add people to your “pick up” list at the school? Let’s work together to be prepared for anything that comes our way from Mother Nature. :)

Boxtops Contest

Congratulations to Mrs. Purnell and Mrs. Chow and Ms. Millman’s classes. Both groups of students won our February Boxtops contest. Please continue to encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to collect Boxtops and Campbell’s labels for our school. Remember, the Campbell’s label must have the barcode and “labels for education” piece showing for it to count for our school. Thanks for supporting the home of the Littlest Riders!
